On February 15, 2022, Mr. Eugen Caras presented the copies of his credentials as Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the United Mexican States, accrediting him as concurrent Ambassador with residence in Washington D.C..

Copies of the letters were handed to Mr. Esteban Moctezuma, Ambassador of the United Mexican States to the United States of America, during a ceremony held at the Mexican Cultural Institute, in Washington D.C.

On this occasion, Ambassador Eugen Caras referred to the priorities of his mandate, emphasizing the deepening of bilateral dialogue in all areas - political, economic, cultural and educational, remarking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the United Mexican States.

The program also included a showcase of promoting our country by presenting wines from local grapes and the art of Moldovan folk costume.
