In this context, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova to the USA informs that, currently, NO OTHER CHARTER flights are anticipated to be organized from USA to the Republic of Moldova.

It is expected that a gradual resumption of regular air traffic will take place soon, which will be decided separately on country to country case, according to the criteria mentioned in the above-mentioned Decision of the National Extraordinary Commission for Public Health. Thus, in order to find out about the resumption of flights to / from Chisinau, citizens should consult separately the official pages of the corresponding airlines (for example, Air Moldova, FlyOne, Turkish Airlines, Austrian Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, etc.).

We remind you that any visitor to the United States must respect the date until which they are admitted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. If a visitor is unable to leave the United States by the Admit Until Date, they need to apply for an extension with USCIS at https://www.uscis.gov/visit-united-states/extend-your-stay . Any traveler who overstays their Admit Until Date risks having the Department of Homeland Security or the Department of State automatically revoke their visa.

This pandemic is unprecedented, but there has been no change to U.S. visa law and anyone who will overstay on a visa needs to file for an extension with USCIS or they will be illegally present in the United States.
