Criminal records certificate

Embassy of the Republic of Moldova to the United States issues criminal record certificates based on the information received from the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Moldova.

Applications can be submitted in person or mailed.

1.       Applications submitted in person:

For application submitted in person, an appointment is required, which can be done at: https://programariambasadarminsua.setmore.com/

Necessary papers:

a.       Filled and dated application form (download here);

b.      Moldovan passport or ID card (Passport – for foreign citizens);

c.       Consular fee paid with a Money Order payable for/to (Embassy of Moldova). No cash or personal are accepted. Amount of the consular fee can be checked at: https://sua.mfa.gov.md/en/content/consular-fees-and-additional-fees;

d.      USPS prepaid priority mail envelope with tracking number and required stamps.

 

 

2.       Applications submitted by mail:

b.      Notarized copy of the Moldovan passport or ID card (notarized copy of the Passport – for foreign citizens);

c.       Consular fee paid with a Money Order payable for/to (Embassy of Moldova). No cash or personal are accepted. Amount of the consular fee can be checked at: https://sua.mfa.gov.md/en/content/consular-fees-and-additional-fees;

d.      USPS prepaid priority mail envelope with tracking number and required stamps.

Processing time: approx. 10 business days
